We love to have help in the kitchen and who better to assist us with breakfast than Henry? We brought one of the dining room chairs into the kitchen for him to stand on and he proceeded to not only eat breakfast at the counter but also his snack. Probably a bad habit but he loved it and that is all that matters.
We made pancakes and apple cake, both were very yummy. Ryan and I have been eating at home a lot more often to save money and thus far, we have been having a great time cooking different meals and letting Henry spend time with us in the kitchen as well.

Nothing wrong with letting him help; I think it's awesome!...but let me forewarn you about the eating standing up, it will come back and get you when you move him out of the high chair/booster and into a real kitchen table chair and he won't sit down to eat. We fight that battle EVERY day now because my mom let him stand up on the chairs. He thinks he should stand up to eat which is 1) scary and 2) not productive as then he thinks he should progress to on top of the table. We must say No, get down, sit down 20 times per dinner.
BTW LOVE the new header. It's as if he is floating on that grass, beautiful!
