Our New Home....soon.
We bought a house this weekend and it is pictured below. Now, you should know this house needs TLC. We like the layout, LOVE the location. We were looking for woods and a good yard and we got that in this house. We also wanted a bright and open layout and got that as well so we are really happy with our choice. The other thing that was important was the "bones" of the house. The builder has a very good reputation and the house is made very well with quality materials. That being said, when you walk inside, it looks like a throw back to the 80's....Yikes! So we will be doing some major updating over the next few years but we hope to be in this house for 15+ years. So, our current home is on the market and there has been a lot of interest so we will see if any of it pans out!

That's great Sam, congrats on the new house! When we bought our house we knew it wasn't exactly what we wanted but that it had good bones we could build off of. We tore the roof off the garage and added the master suite up there. Now we need to redo the kitchen and put new carpeting/floring in the basement/family room and we'll be closer to having it exactly how we want it. It's always good to have some sort of project going, keeps things interesting!
