16 Month Playdate

Sophie and Grace are Henry's oldest friends. Ha! Well, they are only two weeks apart in age total and have been friends since birth. We trade off who hosts the play date and were way overdue for a gathering. I was excited to have them over to our new place to play and catch up. Sophie and Grace were showing off their shades!

Sophie got a bike helmet that you can put inserts in so as your child grows, the helmet grows with them. We asked Steph to bring it over so we could try it on our kids and it was a hit! Grace took her turn wearing the helmet.

And then Sophie let us know how it is worn since it is her helmet.

Henry is just learning the concept of hugging. He will hug when you sign for a hug but doesn't necessarily "hug" on command when you say it. Sophie on the other hand is a pro-hugger and while giving Henry a good hug, might have sneaked in a kiss! hahaha!

Even though the play date only lasted a few hours, we had a really great time and Henry took an excellent nap this afternoon after all the playtime he had with the girls. Next month we hope to go to a splash pad/pool area and let the kids have some water fun!
